Default 2015 pricing DECREASED! Miracles DO happen! It's TRUE!

Wow, according to a recent thread on the Forum with the release of the 15 MSRP pricing, I compared my ordered 15 to a 14 configured exactly the same (minus the Carbon Fiber Badge Package that was NOT available for the 14's). The 15 came out to an MSRP of $61,180, while the 14 had an MSRP of $61,375 (a difference of $195.00). Now that is not a huge decrease, but a decrease indeed. I think that Chevy realized that the significant mid-year 14 price increase was enough to stabilize the supply/demand curve. This is great news for us with ordered 15's. However, this will present a problem for left over unsold 14's. Those will now have to be heavily discounted; as no one in their right mind would pay anywhere near the same price for a 14, when they can have a one year newer 15 with some nice improvements (in some cases, depending upon options and configurations) for the same price, or less in some cases.

PS: the above is comparing the post-price increase for the 14 model year (AFTER March 14).

PSS: When making your calculations, do NOT forget to add/include the $995.00 destination fee; which is listed separately from the pricing that was posted for the 15's.

I just tried to build a 2015, but you can't. It dose not give the option.

Not yet, but you can add the MSRP with options and destination from the other thread that was recently posted by another member.

Didn't quite get this one? Someone please "translate", LOL. Perhaps that I am "high" on weed?? If so, not the case. These are the numbers, and they are what they are.

My similar order would cost about $300 more due the diff between the A6 and A8.

Oh man, I literally just put down a deposit 5 hours ago on a 2014 expecting a price increase on the 2015

I wanted the Cyber Gray though so it's worth it to me. I like it much more than the Shark Gray. I got a 2lt z51, automatic with Mag, pref exhaust, dual roof, nag, black wheels and dual roof. Except for the transmission I think it's all the same as the 2015 otherwise.

I need to get my exact option list, but it looks to me like the 15 is about $1000 more with the same options.

My C7 Z51 with 3LT, NPP, red calipers, mag ride, chrome wheels had a list price of $69,750. when I bought it in September 2013. Same car for 2015 is $74,570.

That's a difference of $4,820.

Guys and gals, keep in mind that some option groups and packages now group certain items together differently than the 14 model. For example, the 15 Z51 now includes the NPP exhaust, when it was a stand alone option in 14. The 15 3LT package now also includes the upper interior suede trim, and the pricing was also adjusted for the new NAV that includes the PDR now, when the PDR was not available for 14. The upper interior suede trim was also a stand alone option for 14. So there are definitely changes.

That is because you purchased your 14 with the PRE PRICE increase MSRP. In mid-March 2014, there was a substantial increase in price for the 14's. This is why I mentioned on my 1st post that I think GM realized that it needed to stabilize the pricing now to reach a balance of supply and demand.

PS: Also, keep in mind that the 15 3LT now includes the NAV WITH PDR (which went up from 795 to 1795), and also the upper interior suede trim that used to retail for 995.00 on the 14's is also now standard on the 15 3LT.

Factoring in the NPP exhaust, it $1000 more but would have the track cam and 8 speed auto included. It's a tough choice but Cyber Gray is definitely my favorite color, so no worries.

If you did not take delivery cancel. A dealer cannot keep your deposit

Yes, I did not include these options in the 15 pricing. Guess my calculator is not working too good.

Well, to each their own. Glad I got my '14. My combo ended up saving me some money on features I don't want in the new '15 packaging.

Haven't they stopped taking orders for Cyber Gray already? I ordered one in March and got it in June. In May my dealer told me Chevy stopped taking orders for CGM.
