C7 hood material/damage
Is the painted removable roof top panel on a C7 coupe made of Carbon Fiber? I know you can get a non-painted fiber carbon hood, but I was wondering if the painted hood is also made of carbon fiber.
I received my C7 via home delivery today, and I am noticing a low spot about the size of a quarter (looks similar to a small ping dent). After much examination it appears there might have been a flaw in the mold or something of that nature because I wouldn't think carbon fiber would crack or bust rather than pushin/dent like a metal panel. There also no chip or damage to the paint.
I have already contacted my dealer and GM, but I haven't heard anything back yet.
