Due to wife’s health issues, I haven’t had the time to “play” around with my new C7. Looked and found most of the info that I care to deal with but I have one question.
Oil life remaining has no reading. Engine was not running when I checked this piece of info, I assume that you can only get a reading when the engine is running, is that correct?
At 660 miles it certainly should be less than 100%. Thanks, Don

Mine displays oil life without the engine running. Hold the start button (without stepping on the brake) until it goes into "Service Only Mode". The Oil Life will give a reading in this mode.
The above is on page 9-20 of the Owners Manual.
Service Only Mode
This power mode is available for
service and diagnostics, and to
verify the proper operation of the
malfunction indicator lamp as may
be required for emission inspection
purposes. With the vehicle off, and
the brake pedal not applied,
pressing and holding the button for
more than five seconds will place
the vehicle in Service Only Mode.
The instruments and audio systems
will operate as they do in ON/RUN,
but the vehicle will not be able to be
driven. The engine will not start in
Service Only Mode. Press the
button again to turn the vehicle off.
This power mode is available for
