Default Passenger window....

Rather than search through 100's of posts, I thought I'd just ask these questions to see if anyone has had these issues.

Once and a while when I pull the power window buttons (and not hold them) to raise the windows, the drivers side window goes up and stays up. The passenger side window goes up and immediately comes back down. It probably happens 30% to 40% of the time. If I pull the button up, and hold it, the window goes up and stays up like it should. Seems a bit weird.

Also, today when I started the car in ECO mode (I left it there last night), I tried to switch the mode control to the Touring setting (1 position over) and it scrolled all the way over to Track without stopping. So I tried to scroll from Track back to Sport (1 position) and it scrolled all the way back to ECO. I had to shut the car off and start it again to resolve the issue. Has anyone ever seen these before?

I have a C7 A6 with 2,615 miles by the way.

It is likely you are encountering "Obstacle Detection" described on page 2-22 of your Owners Manual. Try "Window Indexing and Express-Up Reset" as described on page 2-23. Briefly, you must "Hold the window switch up to the fully closed position"...that is the switch on the passenger door, not the driver door.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
