Default Chrome Polish

I’m hardly obsessive about detailing but would like an effective chrome polish for the exhaust tips.

I’ve used Mother’s Chrome polish but am not impressed with it. Any suggestions? Don

They are stainless. I have used Fliz for years, works great.

Actually, it's Simichrome Polish:

Here's a quote from Autogeek:

Simichrome is the world's finest all-metal polish! Any uncoated, non-ferrous metal surface – brass, gold, silver, aluminum, magnesium, pewter, chrome, sterling, copper, stainless steel – can be brought to a brilliant shine using Simichrome Metal Polish.

After polishing, Simichrome Metal Polish leaves a thin protective coating to help prevent re-tarnishing. Metalworking, plastics and other industries have discovered that Simichrome is the perfect product to polish tool and die molds, extrusion dies... anywhere an ultra fine final polishing is required.

Simichrome is guaranteed to put a shine on brass, chrome, silver, gold, aluminum, glass and plastic. You only need a very small amount of Simichrome Metal Polish to achieve beautiful results.

A +1 for Simichrome .. great stuff, been using it for years. Works on pretty much any non-ferrous metals ..

Here is a quote re Flitz: "Works wonders on brass, copper, silverplate, sterling, chrome, stainless steel, nickel, bronze, gold, aluminum, anodized aluminum, pewter, fiberglass, Corian, glass, Formica, acrylics, Plexiglas, and all Powercoat and Gelcoat painted surfaces. The cleaning agents in Flitz will aggressively remove tarnish, rust, water stains, oxidation, bugs, tar, bird droppings and fingerprints. The finish left behind will resist tarnish and make future cleaning easier. Flitz leaves a layer of clear protection on treated surfaces. On fiberglass and gel-coated boats, you can expect 6 months of durable protection in fresh water and 3 months in salt water. Have used both it and Simchrome and I prefer it. Depends on how much you need. $20 for 6oz or $41 for a 2 pound commercial can on Amazon. I have lots of stainless and aluminum on my street rod. The 12 inch wide aluminum wheels take a lot or product, they are not clear coated!
