Don't have a C7, yet, but on my C5 the clear top is on the car 99% of the time.

It was neat, but too hot for South Florida.

Its a seasonal thing. Painted top on hot days/months, clear every other time. I love the thing and it gives the car a totally different feel.

It's the only top I had for my C6 and now for my C7. I like the interior view and the extra headroom. Very happy with it!

Have one on my c5.
Fries what little brain I have left.
Didn't get it on the c7.
Don't think I miss it.

I ordered both tops and have not put the painted top on the car. I really enjoy the clear. Its nice see the trees, clouds and stuff. Plus I can have the open air feeling and still be AC cool with top in place. I may never use the painted one. I live in Northwest Florida which is very sunny.

I have the exposed carbon fiber top but still would like to have a clear top for the Winter. (To hot in TX to use year-round.) Cost is about double the C6 clear top, though. Tough to justify...

I never used mine, so I sold it. I feel that if I want to see through my top, I'll just take it off.

I've had the clear top on my C5 and C6's using the DSV liner in July and August. This is the perfect combination for me in Wisconsin. I had the dual top option on my Grand Sport and never used the painted top until I sold it. Then I sold the clear top separately to a Forum member.

I'll try to take one later for you but from the inside, you're looking though a blue tint...

It is the only one I ever used going back as far as late c3 days

Love the open feel in the interior.

Clear top was the only top that came with my 2008. I don't miss it on my 2014. The sun does beat down on you in the summer.

I agree. My clear goes on in October, comes off in May. That's the best of both worlds.
