Default Front end question and pointer

Ive had the car a month now and have a tip for new drivers

the front end is deceivingly long. i have now bumped it 3 times . 1 time left a slight impression in the bumper, the other scraped a touch of paint. when pulling in to a parking spot with a curb , get out and check.

My question is for those who have installed the ACS front splitter. The website states it does not lower the front end. Does that mean it does not go lower than the lowest black skirt which hits on everything , or does it sit at the exact height of the "fangs"

I removed the rubber skirt. Some seem to have issues with that - but it looks great without it. In a 2015 Corvette event I was at a few weeks ago ... the Bowling Green guy said a couple times ... that he backs into parking areas. I have never hit anything as I think about it every time I park, but it can be painful if not paying attention ... with or without a splitter.

I removed the skirt as it was rubbing my driveway every time, some of my friends with C7's have the same issue on my driveway. Although its really not an issue, but the splitter is not even close to rubbing.

You can see how high the Lashway is on the car:

This is why so many of us have installed the Curb-Alert...

After scuffing my front a little, I decided to always back into parking spaces with curbs.

What happens with me is that I end up being too far from the curb. Don
