In my opinion, I don't see the market for these seats.
If the car will be raced, then get real race seats which cost a lot less. The seat back bolsters are deeper making it more difficult to get in and out on a daily driver. Besides, the base seats are really good.

Agree, I sat in a Z06 recently with the competition seats and the seat back bolsters were (for me) not as comfortable as the base seats. For the track, I'm sure it is an advantage, but not for a daily driver.
The base seats are good - seat bottom bolsters are annoying but certainly work ok for 8hr drives.
I love mine and I have a 150 mile round trip daily commute. To top that off, I'm not a skinny guy like many claim you have to be to fit in the comp seats.

Yeah, no kidding. For years everyone wanted better seats and would complain to no end. Now we have them and everyone complains that the better, more sporty seat isn't soft enough.
I sat in the standard seats and can understand some of the comments, they are different seats... but I think that GM hit the nail on the head with the competition seats and still kept them tame for daily driving. I think most people have never sat is a real race seat. Those would not be fun for daily use and would deserve the comments.
