Default Delivery Time

Is there a "normal" timeframe for the car to be built and delivered to the dealer ?

Depends upon allocation. Dealer with no allocation could be forever. Large forum dealer, probably about 8 weeks give or take.

Maybe I did not word my question correctly. Once the car has been built and in the Bowling Green lot, what is the normal time, if there is one, for the car to be shipped and arrive at the dealer ?

Anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks if it's traveling by truck. I see you're in CT, so that's how it would be shipped. Some of the big volume Corvette dealers get them quicker, because they often have entire truckloads shipped straight to their dealership.

Usually 7-14 days after your TPW.

This seems to be the norm, but I saw someone post the other day their car was built on the 23rd and at their dealers lot on the 25th.

I have a 8/11 TPW and the dealer told me to expect 7-14 days for them to get it and then an additional 5-7 days for it to be delivered to my doorstep as they are in TX and I am in CA.

The big question this year is will there be a 2 week quality hold.

I have an 8-11 tpw and I'm only 4 hours from BG.

For me, I was told 6-8 weeks after receipt of order. My actual time was right in the middle of that range at 7 weeks.

Depends on:

1. Did your car get held for any Quality Hold
2. Delivery location i.e. Some cars shipped by rail other by truck. Truck is the fastest.

My car was built on July 18th, departed BG on July 24th (not sure of the exact time) and was delivered to my dealer 450 miles from BG at 1:30 pm on the 25th and as you can see my car was the first delivery of the ten cars on that carrier.

So my car's journey was just at a week. But that was a long week I will tell you that.

My entire time line from order to delivery is in my signature.
