Took the C7 into the dealer to replace a defective limit switch in the passenger seat. Tech is friendly and seems knowledgeable. Asked some questions for my info. He said he doesn’t believe the lower current draw of LEDs in the hatch area will set a code. Take it for what it’s worth.
Cashier presented me with a bill for $284. Duh, lady, top of the work order says 2014 Corvette, under warranty. The she wanted $27 for replacing a defective stud in the driver’s side rear wheel hub. Service writer who is friendly and professional, rolled his eyes and had it taken off.
Took it to a nearby GMC dealership to show the car to the very helpful service writer who had asked me to bring it by. Sales floor emptied of all the salespeople. They milled around like bees on honey, smiling and asking questions. Fun time. Don
Nice when what you think will be a simple job turns out to be so. LEDs in the hatch are a very nice improvement. The tone of the light is much more pleasant and brighter as well. Great improvement for $10. Don
