Default C7 Convertible Luggage

I am looking for a set of luggage that is specifically designed to fit in the C7 Convertible with the top down.
There is room for two very small bags "under" the top in the closed position. And there is room for two more pieces in the rest of the trunk. But I cannot find any that are made for this specific space. Got the GM C7 set of luggage, but these pieces do NOT fit the "convertible" space with the top down. Does anyone make C7 convert luggage that fits the space we have.
Thanks,
Nick

Not that I'm aware of. You will have to size the luggage to the area. I suggest the soft variety, they conform to available space.

Not that I'm aware of - we use soft duffle bags. They work fine for us and we can fit 4 medium size ones in the trunk with the top down.

We bought the Corvette Luggage from the GM Accessories. One small suitcase and a square duffle bag fits perfect with a little room left over. Last weekend we took a three day trip, and had several changes of clothes (wife's class reunion), and the trunk was loaded, but we had room for everything. The C7 Corvette Luggage is a little pricey, but we like the looks and it fits perfectly. You can get this for cheaper prices on line if you search, but make sure you are getting the GM product.

Agree, they do fit somewhat well, but there are end and top gaps that could be filled and there is the entire space under the top that is empty. Are you saying the set you got from GM fills that Under-the-top space also and the bags also fill 100% (not 95%) of the rest of the truck. Mine do not fill 100% of the available space (more like 90% -95%) and not any of the space under the top. Maybe I got the wrong set? Yikes.

I travel over 500,000 miles a year via Delta and I have moved totally away from soft. I used to have a lot of it, but now I only do hard side.
I want to not do anymore soft side luggage. But thanks.

Two of these will fit in the "hold"with the partition up. My wife has a larger carry that will not work with mine below. They are cheap to buy but nicely made....no one looks at your luggage when there is a Vette to look at!

After a couple of trips in our conv; I found that the wife can use the hard shell case for her stuff and I use a couple of 16" soft duffel bag types. This way we can put top down at any time. Took this photo on one of first trips with 2 roll-on's. Have since switched to the one blue hard shell case and then several soft sided ones to fill the space.

Screw the luggage. Sell the car. Buy a Buick.

Corvette luggage came with my premier vert and can be ordered. It made to just fit. A little spendy though

If you are considering selling your C7 luggage, I may be interested. Send me a PM if this is the case....

Related subject. We spent three long days at the Long Beach GP with the C7 vert in April. Two big canvas folding chairs slid completely under the folding top compartment. A big cooler full of ice, beer, and food fit in the center of the trunk, with lots of room on either side for clothes, non-cooler food, etc. I was surprised at how much fit in there. We intended to bring the Vette to the GP on Friday only. (We park across the road from the Corvette Corral on Friday and Saturday, which becomes the Cadillac Corral on Sunday, ugh!) We had always taken my wife's SUV before. (We've been to all 40 LBGPs.) The C7 got so much attention and had so much trunk space we took it all three days. It was great! I wish I'd taken pics of the trunk.

This is an excellent example of luggage that is not designed to fit. Notice that about 30% of the room is underutilized in this cram as you can with the size you have strategy. No offense meant at all, this is also my approach now, and the GM stuff is not a lot better in fit.

So I am looking for a set of luggage designed to fit every square inch possible when it is placed in the car. The luggage should be exactly designed to fit the interior dimensions of the trunk, with some fitting under the top (2 bags) and some fitting in the main truck (2 bags). The lid of the truck should touch or have 1/4 inch of spare room with the bags in the car. Perfection is my goal, not what I am doing now with a make-do approach. I am hoping that someone makes or will make a tailored hard side set that is exactly proportional to the size of this car. I am going to keep trying. If I can't find it, I may commission it to be designed and built. I am sure there are others who want a set of luggage that fits this space perfectly.
Thanks
Nick

Do you have an estimate of what it might cost you to have this luggage designed for the space available?

Sounds like a bit of a business opportunity there. If you can make luggage that wastes no space, more than a few other vert people will be glad to buy a set, especially if you can beat GM's price.
