Default Important ANNOUNCEMENT!

FICHTNER CHEVROLET
202 SE 4TH STREET
LAUREL, MT 59044
(406) 628-4618

August 9, 2014

Dear Valued Customers and Friends!

Fichtner Chevrolet, Inc. has made the difficult decision to sell its assets to an entity owned and operated by Rimrock III, LLC.

Our dealership will be signed over and the new dealer will begin business on August 20, 2014.

The new dealership name will be Rimrock Chevrolet.

We would like to thank you for your support and patronage for the past 62 years and are confident that you will find the new owners great to do business with!

Rimrock Chevrolet is retaining me (Ken Fichtner) as their General Manager. I will continue to be an active participant in the Corvette Forum and will continue to offer Chevrolet Corvettes, Parts, and Accessories at special prices!

NOTE: Rimrock Chevrolet will not be offering General Motors Protection Plans (GMPP) and the new Chevrolet Care.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF THESE GREAT PLANS AT THE DEEPLY DISCOUNTED PRICES THAT WE OFFER YOU NEED TO MAKE A PURCHASE BY AUGUST 19!

FURTHER, IF YOU DESIRE TO EXTEND YOUR PRESENT POLICY WE NEED TO DO SO BY AUGUST 19!

Please email Dennis Fichtner at gmpp@fichtnerchevrolet.com for a plan purchase or extension. You may also reach him by telephone at 406-628-4618, ext 105.

Sincerely,

Ken Fichtner, Dealer
Fichtner Chevrolet

Ken,

What does this mean for those of us that have a pending 2015 Stingray order with Fichtner Chevrolet? Will it just transfer to the new dealership, or will you need to hold it until after 8/20 date and submit it under the new dealership?

If the former, will you still get allocations on 8/14?

If the latter, will prices on those orders be price protected?

Thanks,

Daniel Plavsic

Ken, will Kathy and Dennis be staying on too, or just you? Please post new emails when the change-over is effective. Got my new Fichtner Chevrolet NRB Coupe last Saturday courtesy delivered to Danny Beck Chevrolet here in Tulsa; it's a beauty! In any event, good luck with the new arrangement; I've enjoyed working with the Fichtner's! Cary Smith

I'm sure it was not an easy decision, but I'm glad to hear that you're staying on as GM. The Fichtners have always been a class act.

I bet Chev dealers across the country are happy to see GMPP sales go by the wayside for Rimrock Chev but good to see they made at least one right business decision, making you the GM.

Thanks for your years of service to us.

This is an exciting time here at our dealership.

The new owner is investing heavily in the growth of the dealership.

I am excited to be here as their General Manager.

We hope that we are able to get some additional allocations.

As stated, I will continue to be very active here in the forum and will continue to share my passion for Corvettes!! And yes, they will be a supporting dealer!

Remember, we were the first Supporting Dealer!!

Ken

ps....all orders that are in the system will be produced in line with the TPWs that I have provided. All orders are price protected as well. The dealership name will change but the DEALS won't!!

The new owners are interviewing next week and putting the team together.

Default Dealership Change

As Ken stated New Owners, No GMPP or GMEPP so everyone that wants one better hurry, I have been told as of 8-15-14 no more credit cards will be run so everything needs to be done by then. Great deals are ending so get me your VIN, exact miles and state of residence.
Remember you can get the GM Tire & Wheel Protection Package for another week only, I have sold about 200 of these on Stingrays, great deal for the coverage.

This has been the greatest 11 years serving all of you on the Forum, I am not leaving the forum so keep an eye out, never know if I can sell them again.

Good luck to all of you at Fichtner, Dennis. Please do let the forum know if you're able to get back into the warranty business at some point in the future.

Thanks,
Ernie

Good luck Ken, been following you, your dealership and reading "Kens Newsletter" from the beginning back in 1999. Purchased a few GMPP over the years also. Congrats on your new position.

Now maybe your can enjoy the grandkids more. Know you worked hard over the years to build up the business and can now enjoy the fruits. Glad the new owners realize what an asset you will be for them. Have enjoyed your newsletters and keeping all of us in the know over the years. Ken

All of my GMPP's have been purchased from Dennis. I have purchased many parts and accessories from Bob. My biggest project was converting my 99 Corvette base seat to Sport Seats. Bob assembled the entire kit for me.

The CF won't be the same without the entire Fichtner team.

I'm glad to have known you.
