Default New C7

Ok so it's been about 2 days and I'm busting at the seems in anticipation. Praying for a timely delivery. Ordered a triple black with yellow calipers!!!! Every time I see a new vette on the road that is a different color I wonder if I made a mistake. Dam this car is hot! It's gonna be a long couple of mos. Ughhhh!!!

I thought the same thing.. I went back and forth between AW and TR when ordering..

Decided to go with TR [it's a weekend car.. should be flashy.. my daily is a black Audi A6, which blends right in]

Can't go wrong with black, but IMHO, it hides a lot of the sharp, awesome lines of the C7. That being said, black is still amazing. The only color i don't like is LRG

Have you ever owned a black car? If so, then you already know that it is the least forgiving of all paint colors when it comes to hiding dirt, dust, and fine scratches. If you're at all compulsive about those things (especially very fine swirls and scratches), then black is not a good choice. The other big thing to consider is whether or not black is most pleasing to your eye. Color is about as subjective as choices get so only you know for sure what you like best. Personally, I don't find that black flatters the styling of the C7 nearly as much as some of the other colors; your opinion is the only one you should care about, though.

Once your event code hits 3000 no changes can be made. Ask me how I know.

Black is one of the sharpest looking colors, IMO, when it's clean and waxed... I had black on my C6, but I live in Colorado where it rains pretty much every damn afternoon in the summer, so I very eagerly chose white for the C7.

You're going to love the car. I'm a fan of black cars and I don't maintain the finish as well as I'd like too, but I've never gotten tired of the color. The yellow calipers will make it stand out. Congratulations on your order. Two months will go by fast.

Black vehicles are sharp, but they are a full time job.
I love the look, but I'd be a terrible owner of black. I just dont have that kind of time.

Congratulations.

As long as the glass is clean, I don't much care about my vehicles being dirty. I've got a white '00 Silverado that's been washed three times in fourteen years. It cleaned up nicely when I washed it several months ago. Pretty much the same story on my 350Z and the wife's Accord.

The fact that I don't see the outside of these vehicles when I'm driving helps. Looking at a dirty hood and front fenders of a C7 (if I ever get one) may turn me into a car washer, at least for those parts.
