Default Splitter color

I have not seen splitters in person but like the look in pics. I have black vette and would like your suggestion on color, i.e. Satin black, carbon flash or corvette gloss black. Looking at ACS product

For that component I like a little contrast with the body color; in your case you might even consider carbon fiber against the black body.

I'm in the same boat as you, right now I'm leaning toward carbon fiber.

Both APR and Weapon X are carbon fiber. I'll probably go with the APR setup.

The CF pattern makes it look a little dark gray and stands out nice agains the black.

I too went with Weapon X for the CF splitter and rocker panels. I have yet to receive them or the car but they are both on their way. My car has a TPW of 8/11 with museum delivery in early September......I hope.

Your car is running ahead of mine. I saw yours has already been built. Congratulations! How does everyone seem to know what day their car will be built?

Back to your original question, I agree with the majority. I too am ordering Black and opt for the "Visible Carbon Fiber" ground effects. I intend to swap out the "diffuser" for a visible carbon fiber unit as well to tie most all the other aero pieces. I just like the way it ads a subtile difference to the car without standing out looking like an ad on piece. JMHO.

You bust carbon fiber and it's big time cost and skill to match the weave and make it look new. One vendor has posted here that they bondo fill it and then paints the whole thing black or carbon flash. May as well start out with paint if you're gonna do that....
