Just curious, has anybody received their 2015 yet, or are they all still on QC hold.

that's debatable; but some have advanced beyond status code 4000. This is generally a sign that (at least for those orders) they are no longer being new-MY QC held.

Don't forget about 4B00 and 4D00. If there's a QC, they will flop around for a little bit.

Early 15's have been produced over a week ago and still on hold. Wondering they are going to hold over a few like they did 14's.

I think the only reason they would be held is if they found a problem doing QC.

If they find no problems or if they only find a problem on one or two cars they should be released.

You need to remember it's not a 14 car they went through that I hope they learned what not to do.

I just hope they get it right on my car it is scheduled to be built sometime this week.

My car is built and sitting there. I am getting the new trans. I would think that could be one of the reasons for the QC, they are checking to make sure it works like it should.

They've built over 30,000 of these cars. New new model year is the same car with a few different options. Why would anything other than their normal CQ be necessary?

My 14 has no problems whatsoever and I have over 4,000 miles on it. A weekend off and then a new sequence of numbers does not change how the car is built...

I'm still waiting on one of the last 2014's to be delivered (should be within about a week), so I'd have to expect the 2015's to be a little ways out, and then there's their QC hold on top of it.

Lets see... a Brand New A8 transmission?

Changes that could be held for QC

All just speculation. Until we get word from GM or a reputable dealer I won't believe it.

Could it be marketing related - waiting for 14's to substantially clear the lots so as not to start the pricing wars which will have everyone looking for discounts???

may be; but in 2001, the 2002 model year start was early, and the cars shipped right away.

But there was a catch, the cars that shipped quickly were ones already sold (not dealer stock). These cars wouldn't be sitting around the lot competing with last years unsold models.

I can't understand this wait; and it's silly to hold off till after Labor Day (if there's any truth to that).

That would take a very long time to clear the remaining 2014's.

Funny how that varies across the country. Here in Colorado, dealers can hardly keep the coupes in stock.

We need a reputable dealer to chime in on this issue. My dealer says that my 2015 will def be here in August and I am hoping the same that they start shipping them out of BG tomorrow. (Pray to the GM gods on this one!)
