Default Discount on C7

You have to join a credit union once joined you follow the link I have posted, you register your credit union name and GM will give you a number you take to the dealer that will take the discount, call around. It's about $8000 off MSRP.

You should probably inform the forum dealers of that. They've been accepting discounts on 2015 models already!

Discounts such as supplier, military and credit union are great and I quality for all of them; problem is getting a dealer that will accept them. I’ve used GM Supplier on my last two C6’s with no problems, but no luck so far on a C7 in Houston. Will probably have to go out of state and order with a CF dealer.

Hi, I've been following your posts and appreciate the education....using the website (I belong to a listed CU), I get @ $6,100 off MSRP. May I ask the build price of the car on which you are getting $8,500 off? Must be loaded with everything?

Thanks -

David, I knew when I saw your post people would misconstrue that to mean MY2015 Stingrays. Like you said, the Z06 will be a new model, the Stringray is not. The same will apply if they ever do a GS or a ZR1 too, if history repeats itself.

If there are no discounts for new models (i.e. 2015 Stingrays) why are some dealers accepting it? Further more if GM is not officially accepting it how are the dealers getting their payback from GM on a Supplier deal, I don't think at this point the dealers are providing Supplier pricing and eating it.

So what's the real scoop, the supplier web site has no Build & Price for the 2015 and some dealers who would accept supplier if GM accepts it are not presently accepting it, stating GM has not made it available.

What's the real story?????? Can some forum dealer respond to this.

Please read David and my replies. The 2015 Stingray IS NOT a new model, the Z06 is. Don't overthink things and don't mistake the build and price site as an entitlement indication, it isn't. The actual entitlement page on the supplier site tells you what is and isn't entitled. Expect an update in the October timeframe to include the Z06 in the excluded list.

the Z51 is the GS, and ZR1 is the Z06, they're will not be a 7.0L in this C7

I guess I will go to my basic question: My dealer states he WILL accept supplier pricing if GM makes it available, to date GM has not made it available. Where to go to prove GM has made it available excluding the FAQ that states the only 2015 exclusions are the Z/28 & Spark EV is there any other official notification??

The flaw in your logic is believing GM has not made it available for 2015's. Call the program office and ask them, they will tell you the only cars excluded are the Z28 and the Spark EV.

The document on the website is the definitive answer, it has been for years. It's what the person at the program office will direct you to.

have to wait till they release the pricing, which I heard is the 28th, but they will not sell it till the 4th Quarter, so they might wait till then!
