Default Difference Between 2LT w/NAV and 3LT?

What is the difference between the 2LT with NAV and the 3LT that already contains the NAV, besides the money? Inherent in this question is the sub-question...is the 3LT really worth the extra $$?

It pretty much boils down to differences in the materials used in the interior of the vehicle. The 2015 3LT not only has the Nappa quality leather upholstery, but it also has the sueded upper panels and headliner as well. The 3LT also has the PDR/Nav as a standard feature as well as 4G/LTE.

Whether these differences justify the price is a matter of opinion. If I were going to use my C7 primarily as a track vehicle, I would go the 2LT route and add the PDR/Nav option. If I were going to use the C7 as a personal, high-performance cruiser I would choose the 3LT. If cost is an issue then I think the obvious choice is either 1LT or 2LT depending on degree of price sensitivity.

Well, the $4400 price hike between the 2LT and 3LT wasn't worth it IMO.

I got navigation in my 2LT.

Didn't really care about suede leather all over the interior that 3LT offered.

I'm not sure if the site is having problems, but.. I see that 2LT vs the 3LT is about $5,290 difference. But the NAV added to the 2LT adds $1,795 to the 2LT price. This addition of NAV to the 2LT apparently MUST include the performance data and video recorder. Not at all sure if I can get a C7 WITHOUT the performance data pkg. Anyone know?

"Worth it" is up to you. For me it absolutely was worth it because I wanted Brownstone, which is only available with 3LT.

Thats how they get ya, make it only available in the most expensive options. That is why aftermarket thrives.

As for me, the 3LT is not worth it. And almost 1800 for a Nav, when you your phone does a better job anyway. Come on chevy, for real?

2LT black interior with nav for me. 3LT is definitely not worth it if you want black interior.

A garmin will outperform the nav system. A blackvue camera or various racing apps will outperform the GM recording system I am sure. Why we pay $795 and now $1795 for nav and a camera system when aftermarket are cheaper and so much better is beyond me. And yes I popped the $795 for the nav. on my 2lt.

I agree. I have the convertible with Brownstone and suede insert built December 9th. This option is worth more to us traveling to Texas, New Mexico, California, Nevada and Arizona the months of January, February and March for 8500 miles. Been to Washington DC this summer and have 11500 miles at this time. These comfort/traveling options are worth much more to me than options like Z51, magnetic shocks, 5 horsepower exhaust
system. It boils down to what ever floats your boat is the way to go.

No way I'd put a Garmin in this car. And the ways I've seen it done simply look cheesy imo. I paid for the integration of the nav and love how it's tied together in the C7. It hasn't failed me yet and I don't really get all the complaints. Glad I got in the first year though. Forcing that PDR on folks for $1795 is messed up.

HAve AR 3LT interior with no suede. Would not have been completely happy with anything less.

It's $1795 on 2015 cars; it includes the performance data recorder.

I'm getting the firm idea that NAV in 2015 requires the Data deal, and $1,795, not the $795 for NAV alone that was available in the 2014. Anyone see it different?

I'll bet you got a 2014 model. I'm looking at the 2015 pricing to get the $1,795 figure.

You are correct; I wanted the NAV but didn't want to spend teh $1795 for something I wouldn't use. Can't understand why Chey has forced this issue and I would be they lose sales on the NAV. I know they did with me.
