Had my first head turner this afternoon. I was out putting some break in miles on it, sitting at a yield left turn light waiting on traffic to clear. I hear a "wooooo!" On the right side of the car only to look over and see a young guy in a early 2000's Mustang GT leaning half way out of the driver side of the car giving a fist pump for like 5 seconds. I don't see how he didn't hit the curb. Must have been a passenger holding the wheel.
Regardless of the dangerous situation, I hit the horn and went on about my way.
I've spent a lot of time answering questions in parking lots at the coffee shops we frequent. Hardly a day passes by that I don't get someone taking a pic , wanting to ask questions, giving a thumbs up even from the other direction. They pull up to you on the hiway and sit beside you a bit then thumbs up and away they go. Had a lady in a Jeep follow me into a parking lot (not because she was going there) and had to know what kind of car it was, told her , she claimed it was the most beautiful car she had ever seen. Really is amazing the reaction this car brings, personally I like the smiles that light up when kids on their bicycles see it, they can't help it, just a happy car
I have noticed more reactions recently than back in spring when I purchased the car. Thumbs up, nice car, I only had one individual actually stop and ask me questions. No race challenges, a Toyota revved his engine as the car passed me, not quite sure what that meant.
