Has anyone added long tubes but kept the stock NPP catback? I'm curious on hearing how much louder the car is with just doing this and not replacing the catback system.
If anyone has a video please post this up. Thanks!
I have ARH LT's with the NPP exhaust. With Sound Management on and in Touring or Eco mode, it's not really any louder than stock. Turn Sound Managment off and and you get a nice rumble at low RPM but mash the loud pedal and the Gates of Hell open.
It's the best of both worlds.

Any chance you can post a video clip so we can hear it?
I've become skeptical about aftermarket exhaust systems. 20 years ago, manufacturers often compromised performance for issues like emission control, noise, longevity and of course cost. There was legitimate bolt-on HP available from performance exhaust tuning.
But technology has advanced, and especially on performance cars, competition has forced manufacturers to put their best foot forward, and put really efficient exhaust systems on cars.
A few years ago, I read an article where several popular aftermarket exhaust systems were dyno'd against the factory system on then new 911 Porsche, and the take-away was that the aftermarket systems added no useful performance... they were just louder, and or introduced annoying resonances.
The performance aftermarket is not really regulated... they can make any claims they want, and many of them are shameless in misrepresenting their products.
I find it hard to believe that two dudes in a garage are smarter than the entire Porsche or Corvette engineering department. Before I spend thousands on an new exhaust system, I'd want to see some credible third party dyno data.

Lucky for you that there are SEVERAL members on here who have provided third party dyno graphs to prove this. The aftermarket systems are designed to eliminate the excessive restrictions put into the exhaust systems to make them quieter and to meet regulations in all 50 states. Simply put, the aftermarket company is better BECAUSE they are not regulated by this..
SSidekickbp, I watched a video of a C7 with ARH long tubes and NPP on here a while ago. Let me dig up the vid for you. It's actually what I am doing to mine as soon as I finish my order with Ben at WeaponX..

A while back there was a video of a white c7 leaving a car show turning onto a street that IIRC had LT's. Maybe someone here remembers what the video was called.

Stainless Works in Ohio installed headers and a double x pipe on my C7 while retaining the NPP exhaust from the axle back. Could not be happier with the tone and how much louder it is. It did throw the check engine light but I had the car tuned which eliminated it. Below is a link to a video they took. Tune and headers produced +40rwhp on the dyno. It definitely has a raw sound that is clearly not stock. And of course the baffles still quiet it down whenever I'd like (never). Here's the link to the video.
