My C6 with outside mirrors extended, fit into my 96" garage door
opening with about 5-6 inches on each side. I never actually measured the car.
The C7 is 1.5 inches wider than the C6.
So.... curiosity....
How wide is the C7 with outside mirrors extended,
including the mirrors in the measurement ????
Unfortunately can’t go by published width. That does not include mirror to mirror width! Had the same concern before I got mine last October and read where a GM rep said the mirrors were also slightly larger.
Made a couple of things to help in my 8 foot wide garage which is not 8 feet when you consider molding etc.
Turns out the C7 is 2 3/8 inches wider at the mirror tips. Things I did may help, especially when backing out at night. Just be careful pulling in! http://netwelding.com/Narrow_Garage_Device.pdf http://netwelding.com/Mirror_Proximity_Alarm.pdf

Besides the 8' door width, I have to deal with a 4-post lift as well. The posts are close to the garage door...maybe 4 feet away, and I park ON the ramps. Backing out is slow and tedious...if I get crooked the mirrors come real close to the door jambs. Excuse the clutter....I've been working on it all summer!
There are several threads already on this subject that suggest the overall width is approximately 85 ¼ inches. All C6.models were 82 ⅝ at the mirrors and the C7 is said in these other threads to be 2 ⅝ inches wider at the mirrors.
You can always fold the driver side mirror inward from inside the car and reduce the width by a few inches while rolling toward your garage. A pain, I know, but it might make you more comfortable to lose a few inches that way.
I can tell you my garage door is 94.25" wide (96" door minus moldings) and my C7 has about 4-5" per side when pulling in - it is no problem; my Jeep GC is 91.5" mirror to mirror, and is much tougher to pull into the garage.
I have the same problem pulling into my two car garage, this really helps guide me in each time. I have a small red rubber ball hanging from the ceiling attached by dental floss, the ball hits my windshield [1/4" red marker inside the windshield] in the exact spot each time. After measuring the precise spot your car needs to be, this no cost marker guides me into the garage with both width and length being covered each time.
What is the width with both mirrors folded in as it looks like part of the mirror holder sticks out after the mirrors are folded in-I need to add that sticking out after the mirrors are folded in amount to the 74 or so inch width to see if the vette will fit in garage.
