I took my iPad out to my car yesterday just to see how it would look and play. I plugged it into a USB port in the console, pressed the Media button and bingo there was Tom's iPAD displayed and it had buttons for Album's, Artist's and Song's just like iTunes.
I selected The Beatles > Abbey Road > Golden Slumber and pressed Play.
Awesome, even displayed the Album Art cover. I iPAD has over 200 CD's with about 3500 songs and the Stingray's interface was pretty quick responding to commands too.
The FF, RW bottoms worked as expected. Easy peasy. Looks and works great.
When I use the BT connection with my Motorola RAZR it works good too but it doesn't display Album Art and the navigation buttons are wonky.
It was an easy connection to established and worked fine for me. I just tossed the iPod behind the screen into the cubby, no cables to contend with and it worked very well. Give it a try.

Does an iDevice display Album Art via BT? It doesn't with my RAZR, but in my Volt it does
So the MyLink is different from the Volt to the Vette. Go figure??

But does an iPOD/iPhone display Album Art via BT?
Tom
Interesting Tom. I got no album art through my BT connection but now you have me wondering. I should try a cabled connection and see if it makes a difference. I might also try D/L of my music to a USB device or a SD card. The other thing that just occurred to me is that some of my music has no album art associated with it. I will have to play.
BTW, the one downside to BT vs cable connect is iPod battery life. It has nit been an issue because the battery hangs in there pretty well and I have not used the iPod for long periods of time.

Standing by for your reply as we are considering switching from a droid to iPhone later this fall now that Apple came to their senses and will have bigger phones.
I'll either get a used iPOD depending on how much a 32GB iPhone 6 will set me back.
