Default Event Status Codes

Is there a way to follow the 'Event Status Codes'?
If so, how.

You can use the GM order tracking website but it doesn't provide codes.

http://www.chevrolet.com/order-tracking.html

They basically translate as follows:

Order placed = 1100 status.

Queued for Production = changes at 3000 status and encompasses 3000, 3100, 3400.

Production Complete = 3800 status. Changes at 3800 and encompasses 4000, 4104, 4B00, 4150

Shipped En Route = 4200.

At the dealership = 5000.

The only way to get the actual status code updates is from the GM Order Workbench. Your dealer should be keeping you updated but the level of knowledge and effort varies from dealer to dealer.

Also, I don't know where the thread is, but I came across where someone posted up the approximate timeline between each code

Maybe someone knows what I am talking about and can help
