Default Electronic differential info

Cadillac CTS-Vsport uses the same electronic differential as is used in the C7 and here is a link to some information as to why some have had trouble with there's.

Interesting. Sounds like a non-issue for current or recent builds.

Except that there is no way from a production standpoint that only a few cases for journalist and test cars were produced and that there is a new production batch after the fact that can be assumed to be free of defects. That is not how it works. They would not have released cars to journalists with known problems, had they known. I have no doubt that the there are more cases of cases out there, pun intended. No big deal, since warranty covers it.

My mom had 1985 Buick Century and was fine for the first 50,000 miles and then it started losing power steering hydraulic fluid. It kept getting worse and worse.

Turned out it was a MAJOR problem because of porosity in the aluminum housing with the 1985 Buicks and started long after her car was out of warranty.
