Congrats!

As Z06s aren't being produced until February, you should have it in time to enjoy next Spring/Summer!

I was all set to order the Z 51 that I had discussed with the wife, then couldn't help myself when the wife said, "why don't you get the Z06". I think the car will look bold and different by all the bulges, and certainly will be inspiring in power. The red calibers and red interior will set off the black exterior and the wheels. The red interior will add a nice contrast.Tires are approx. 2 inches wider than the Z51's front and rear. I had a rough time on exterior color and on entering the dealership it was red until I saw black again.

They say the cars won't be produced until next year, but that's what they said about the verts last year, and they began delivering them in late November. Congrats, and I hope it's sooner than later.

First allocations will be pulled September 16th... This translates to a late October build. They would not be doing this for February builds. Just no automatics or verts initially.

Decided to drive to Chicago late October and intend to go to the Museum in BG, Hopefully will get a glimpse of early production or at least a chance to talk with a few people. Certainly hope to get the car in early Spring, but I am grateful to still be around after the accident I have the time to enjoy the wait.

From the horses mouth:
"If things go well you could start seeing some customer cars before Christmas."

Also, Manual Coupes will be the first ones built. Autos and Convertibles will follow.

We'll see if the Car and Driver is accurate, If so, the mid-engine ZORA will be out in a couple years as the "ZR1" of Corvettes. Time to put a deposit on that!

Z06 are being produced. I saw them being assembled at the plant. However they sure as heck are not being sold or delivered. Seeing them live I was not all that impressed. Knowing the power I am impressed but the body is just another variation on the same theme.

Wow this way off the mark! Got a close look at them @ Carlisle and that car is wicked. Would be nice if they could do a better job on body prep & paint though. IMHO LOL

Its normal to do a limited production for internal use well ahead of customer car production. It tests the assembly process and gives them a number of cars for testing, press evaluation, etc...

Zora will be the 6 cylinder with 17" wheels priced at 39k.......the 6 banger has over 300 hp. will still do a burn out, trust me I saw it on the internet.. ..LOL the z06 is going to be a game changer, bet the guys that got the 70k3lt are kicking them self's now, remember the one that came with the suitcases and dealers put 10k markup on that.... that's a lot of car for the money, kind of feel bad for viper SRT..... if they can just compete. but back to topic.... your car will be a real killer...
