Default Ordered my 2015 C7

Just put the deposit down today and had the order form submitted. This will be my 3rd Corvette (Had an 07 Z51 A6 VR) and 09 Z51 M6 CRM).

This one is going to be a Shark Grey/Kalahari Z51 Coupe 3LT (my others were 1LT) M7. With Black wheels, carbon fiber visible ground effects, carbon fiber trim, CF mirrors/spoiler/badges, dual roof (glass/visible carbon fiber), CF hood stinger, magnetic ride (never had it before, I hear good things) and museum delivery. Which I have never done the museum delivery before and am very excited to go with my father to pick it up!

They said it should be ready in 9-12 weeks. How has your order been for a 2015? Just curious, it will get here when it gets here.

Also does anybody have any pictures of the '15 visible carbon ground effects on a shark gray? I will keep looking but have not found any yet.

Cheers!

Congrats!

Do you mean the CFZ carbon fiber ground effects package?

If so, good luck as it's been on constraint ever since it became available for order. I put in my 2015 order on Aug 3rd, and it's still in status code 1100 (waiting to be accepted by GM because of lack of availability of CFZ). I'm thinking about dropping the option. Also, I haven't seen any official pictures of the CFZ ground effects package yet..

In addition to CFZ, anticipate some issues with the dual roof package. The option is on 0% constraint, meaning that no orders are being picked up with that option with no end in sight. It's a little surprising that your dealer didn't tell you this. If you keep that option on your order, there's no telling how long it will take to get your car. Not trying to be a killjoy, just trying to provide you with info that it sounds like your dealer didn't give you.

Just got word from the dealer that the CFZ is a constraint... looks like I am dropping that and going aftermarket. He did not say anything about the dual roof.

I suggest calling the dealer and asking. As far as I know the dual options have been on 0% constraint (i.e. zero availability) since the beginning of C7 production.

why don't you set up a signature saying you are a bonifed corvette client advisor, so people know you have credibility and not just another owner?
