Went C7 shopping today. I found a 2014 red 7 speed coupe in my price range. When I got to the dealer, I was told it sold last night. I thin moved on to another C7. This time a red Z51 coupe. 7 speed. Price was very fair and the salesman was great to deal with. Problem was, I had no idea what my trade was worth. I own a 07 Z06 with 18K miles. Needs tires, but otherwise in good shape. I was offered $31,000.00 for it. Didn't really know what to expect, but didn't know they were valued that low. I will just keep it and enjoy it for that price.
Boy that C7 would look nice in my garage though.

No need to be bummed, you have a pretty nice car already. If you drive into a dealer with a nice car with no issues its no big deal to drive off with it if you dont get the deal you want.
The C6 has taken a huge depreciation hit. All of us who babied our car, didn't drive in the rain, kept them covered and otherwise keeping them pristine just wasted our time. Not with this car, it goes to market, been in the rain and is driven frequently. I want drive it in snow though, I hate to drive anything in snow.
sell your car yourself. look at Edmonds and Kelly blue book, he was way low on his offer.
I sold my '07 1lt with 29000 miles to the 2nd person that looked at it last month. you can also try a different dealer if you don't want to deal with selling.
Your '07 Z06 should bring much more than that offer.
Sell it privately or have a look at the "Sell your car" option on Autotrader. When I checked it out back in 2013 to sell my '05 they came within $1,500 of what I wanted to sell it for. With them it is a sale to a local dealer independent of the purchase of a car. They just match you up with a dealer as a buyer that is local and looking for used inventory.
That happened to me three times in 2014. Then out of the blue, exactly what I wanted came in at a dealer within an hour of my home. Keep searching and you'll get it

I have a very good (and wealthy!) friend who lives in Norton and he's been looking for a Z06 for some time. I'll point him to this post for you!!

Don't be bummed out. It was probably a blessing. Hang on to your C6Z for a while until they get the mystery lt1 engine blowing up problems fixed. Better yet spend 2k and get your LS7 heads checked and re-worked. your c6Z is superior in performance to a base c7 or c7 z51 equipped car.

Yeah, that blowing up problem is sooooo bad. It is a wonder any of them are still running. Massive problem.

MICHAELEVERSON,
Fear not my Friend! You are still driving one of the Baddest Cars on the Planet in the C6 Z06
Also, don't let one "low ball" offer from a stealership bring you down. After all, that's what they do for a living. As other members have previously stated, sell it private party. In the mean time, Enjoy that Bad A$$ Z06
