C7 Track Guys Only, Please
Is it z51 or base? How often do you track it? Do you do the recommended tracking procedure? How much does that cost?
Does it get very hot? Do the brakes hold up?
Any warranty work or dealer disagreements?
Thanks,
Victor
It's really interesting to see the M or the Porsche run to the high RPM vs all the grunt at midrange rpm and then shift.
I know that's not a quality/service comment but I'll take whatever I can get :-)
In between I was at spring mountain level 2 course 2 days driving their z51 c7 May this year.
Have 911GT3 manual Yokohama adv08 tires, before super sport. Have tracked the Porsche for 2 years. Learned heel toe last year. This year trying for more consistency b
Both cars are great on the track. Ran track sport 1 mode with the vette. You can get close to 85-90 in 2nd as shift lights turn from green to orange to blue in the HUD.
Both cars slow in fast out and get on the gas before apex. Both cars with no body roll.
The main differences are aural. V8 low end rumbling vs higher pitched wail of the gt3.
Have NPP in the vette.
Have RSS center exhaust bypass in the GT3.
Listed to the Tudor c7.R in car vs porsche 911 RSR and it's like that.
