Yes the dealer has the money and I have a car I am not happy with.
I just went to the dealer for this same exact issue...wind noise on drivers side window behind my left ear at around 50MPH....which grows with speed.
They realigned the window but its still there but not as bad.....I think this is a minor design flaw we have to live with..

I noticed road noise as I drove mine home from the dealer. Fixed it with a Corvette Racing/Jake mat in the rear.

Do the dollar bill test place dollar in different areas around the glass and close door and pull the easy pull is your air leak.

My tech actually did that test in front of me (not with a dollar bill )

It was tight everywhere.
He even used a stethoscope to listen while I drove

He thinks it may be coming from the rear window area, under the plastic shrouding on the inside of the car.

I am just going to live with it unless GM comes up with a real fix.

With that said, GM had to know this was an issue during R&D, like they had to know about the overheating.

I have driven my car only twice with the top up. Louder than my 6 and 5 verts, especially the 6. Noise coming from passenger side like the window is not sealed. I know the top is sealed because I tried the paper test. An $80k vehicle....

The passenger side may be the same deal....I never sit there so I wouldn't know for sure.

Still surprising they couldn't get that right........

Could it be from the vents on the rear fenders, and the sound is getting transmitted into the car?

From the posts it sounds like similar noise from both verts and coupes except the verts have no rear fender vents...

When installed improperly by a careless jackass, this tends to happen. Pretty common. Dealer has the weatherstripping that sits between the door glass and the rear quarter glass on order. At issue here are the 2 reinforced locations on the weatherstripping. My passenger side is perfect and flush. But when I close the driver side door, 2 spots on the weatherstripping bulge out opening a gap between the rubber and the quarter glass. If not completely pushed in during intallation, the 2 reinforced parts in the rubber weatherstripping get crushed by repeated slamming of the door and the reinforced areas go limp causing the rubber to deform and causing this annoying wind noise. I'll be watching the tech intalling the whole new weatherstipping. Pretty annoyed but will let you guys know the results. I already know for sure this is the problem as I installed 2 pieces of felt where the reinforced areas should be to keep the rubber from bending and opening gaps in the seal when the door is closed. No wind noise with the felt acting as the reinforcement

Figured I'd post a pic of what I attempted to explain above. You can see my rolled up felt in the two locations. Without the felt, when I close the door, the 2 areas I marked with arrows get deformed and gaps form between the rear quarter glass and the driver window weatherstripping. The faster you drive, the more obnoxious the wind noise becomes. With the felt in place, it's silent inside. This is an explanation of my problem, I hope it helps you with yours.

I recently sold a base '15 stingray did not have the raised Z vents on the rear...now in my '17 GS there are those raised fins on top of the rear vents and I do quite a bit of wind noise. I think the fins are the reason.

Default Wind noise after getting top replaced

I have what may be a similar problem. My 2015 Z06 convertible recently had to have the top replaced (the factory top it came with was cut a little short and the edging pulled away). Ever since then I've had a wind noise when the top is up. It starts around 35 MPH and gets louder at higher speeds. It sounds just like the window is cracked a bit, and it's on both the passenger and driver's side. It appears to be coming from the trailing edge of the window.

I've had it back to the dealer that did the top replacement, and they tried some things, with no improvement. They're starting to say that it's normal -- but I'm 99% positive that it wasn't there before the top was replaced.

I also noticed this piece behind the driver's seat when I was washing my car:

It's hard to tell size, but that's on the doorsill for the picture -- the piece is a flexible rubber piece about 3" long. The dealer wasn't able to identify it, but it looks like some kind of sealing piece to me.

So, is this kind of noise normal? Is there anything I can do about it? And does anyone have any idea what that piece is? It may be unrelated, of course, but it seems to be a bit of a coincidence if it's not.

Also, I have noticed an even bigger wind noise when the top is down, but I'm pretty sure that is normal.

Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give me.

Is it normal? Good God my friend, I'm almost reaching the end of my list of fixing up all of the factory screw ups on my 16, but I'm scared. I'm scared that if I found and fixed all this crap so far at 1,500 miles, what kind of issues will develop as the car ages? Growing up and being a lifelong Corvette dreamer, it's easy to turn a blind eye and just pretend it's normal, but why wasn't it normal on my 1996 Lexus ES300 with 228,000 miles? That car also had frameless windows, but with the door shut, the outside world would disappear at any speed. So sadly, it's not normal, and by today's automotive standards and technological advances, it's a really a shame. I still grin ear to ear every time I walk out and see my vette in the garage, but I'm getting pretty fed up.

Update. Dropped off the car this morning. Got a call and a couple pics showing the new weatherstripping is nice and flush on both driver and passenger sides. However, tech was not happy with the driver window actuator and ordered a new one. I should be picking it up tomorrow and driving back about 50 miles. Will keep you guys posted

Drove it back 50 miles. My tech replaced the window regulator and the entire weatherstripping running from passenger side, under the roof to the driver side. Happy to report it is silent inside now. He wouldn't give up until he figured it out. It was a combination of the deformed weatherstripping and the window not aligning properly. I'm extremely happy with the results.

My wind noise is 100% coming from seat belt outlet... It doesn't really bother me enough to correct it, but at least knowing I can do something about it, keeps me content.

Yep. I have a Z06 Vert. Very annoying.

I had a '14 Z51 and it was stone cold silent. Nothing. Nada. I've had it in to the dealer a few time trying to fix the issue, but all I've gotten for my troubles is now the windows do not always roll up...sometimes they get to the top and then roll back down (with and without the top being up).

I've resigned myself to just enjoying the ride and turning the radio up louder or driving exclusively with the tope down!

I just had the seal replaced on my 2014 coupe. It's the seal that runs across the top of the halo and meets the removable top. I never had wind noise but I certainly do now. At 70mph it sound like the window is open a half inch or so. Going back to the dealer tomorrow.

The good news is this dealer replaced my 3LT dash pad that had the leather delaminating. The first dealer didn't see anything to warranty. The got hammered on my "How was your visit to the dealer?" email.
