Default Touch Screen Issue -Navigation

I am having difficulty with the Touch screen when using the Navigation. The voice entry works fine entering the data to the system but I am unable to use the "go" or "Save". When I push on the screen there is no recognition. If I move my finger in the general area to try and engage it I wind up on another screen that moves my designated point?

All the other touch points seem to work. However these points are at the edge of the screen so I am wondering if this is some type of alignment issue.
Has this happened to anyone?

Thanks

Default Calibrate display?

Have you tried calibrating the display? It is in Settings, Radio, Display. This may help with targets at the display edges. Can't hurt to try.

That sounds like exactly what I need to do. It just happened yesterday and I did a search to see if there was anything online.
Thanks for the advice.

When you touch a particular command, don't expect instant recognition, takes a second or two for the system to respond. Example: select GO, hold and wait for the button to change color, command is then confirmed, second or two later system will react accordingly.

I was sitting in the parking lot with my finger on go for 5 seconds and there was no recognition, no light up just a new screen moving a crosshair. I tried numerous times varying length and position. I have had issues before on Portable GPS units- the sweet spot just is slightly off of center. In this case there seems to be a misalignment.

It takes a firmer push than you would think. Seems something isn't right with your system though. My car takes the command in a few seconds.

Just an update on the touchscreen display issue.

I used the calibration function to reset the touchscreen alignment. It remained aligned for 1 day then reverted back to the same issue. This time when I would push on "GO" the "SAVE" feature would light.

I tried to access the calibration function and the home screen froze not allowing me to get to settings.

Luckily I had a scheduled appointment with the dealer so the service manager was able to view the problem.

Hopefully it is just a reset.
