According to Brembo, the standard Z06 2 piece rotors are about ~1" larger in diameter than the Z51 1 piece rotors for both front and rear. Not sure about the thickness though. The Z06 clearly has larger front calipers with 6 pistons vs the smaller 4 piston calipers on the Z51. However, the rear calipers on the Z06 appears to be very similar as the Z51 but there are some minor differences.
I still have not fallen for the C7 yet, I am however surprised at how simply the color changes my mind on like or dislike. Please, no offense to anyone, we all have our likes and dislikes. If not we would all drive the same thing, same color and never alter.
I look at the blue one in the photo and I think it is one of the ugliest corvettes ever made. But, then I look at the black one and the charcoal one and think they are beautiful and I want one. I don't understand why the color makes me like or dislike the look of the car.
But the blue one does not do it for me but like I said, the black and more so the charcoal one really makes me like it. Strange, but that is what I think, anyone else like some in one color but hate it in another?
And by the way, Black is not my favorite color, I actually hate it, except on the C7, go figure.

I don't think you're alone with this...I love the looks of the C7 but there are colors that just don't do it for me even with the C7 and wouldn't own the car if I had to have it in a color I didn't like...I also feel that way about the color of the wheels.. put black wheels on a car any car for that matter and to me it ruins the looks of the car but there are some that love that and it does it for them and they usually hate bright or chrome wheels to them that ruins the looks of the car..
I concur that different colors make the car look much better ...for some reason the yellow one does it for me....funny thing is for some reason pics don't do this car justice....from some angles it looks kinda cheap...but when you see one in person it really does have some appeal to it. I am trying to refrain my self from judging this car...for proper judgement, one really should drive one for a couple of weeks. I am really liking the interior.....but from what I hear the quality of the paint should be much better, and the weight issue is a huge turn off for me...but maybe that's why the car is "much more affordable" in comparison to the c6 zr1. if the car weighted 3300 lbs, that would be a whole new ball game.
