Jag,
I had a pull to the right at the original factory -.05, -.05 until I gave the dealer the -.02, -.05 settings. I've had it realigned again at 16,000 miles and now 24,000 it's still wearing even, tracking straight.

Are the dealerships able to align the C7 properly? There is a large thread on the Z06 forum stating that dealerships don't have the gauges to align the rear casters to prevent pulling to the right.

They usually don't have the tools to adjust rear caster (although they won't tell you that) but rear caster won't affect pulling to the right.

I respect the reply to my post, juanvaldez, and I admit I don't know a thing about alignment, or anything technical, but if I am reading correctly, it's asymmetrical rear caster adjustment that is causing traction loss, pulling to the right, and the crashes spoken of in that thread.

Don't know about asymmetrical but a little positive rear caster is supposed to help with bumpsteer. Most normal folks are not likely to see the conditions that bring it on. I've been fighting the battle to get my Z51 properly aligned to get something a little better for autocrossing. Probably been to 20 dealerships. Everyone one said they could do an alignment on my car. Turns out none of them had the tools (CH479670 and CH47960-10). One of the dealerships showed they had bought the tools and had them in inventory, just couldn't find them. Anyway, I bought the bracket, CH47960-10 and an aftermarket angle guage, WR300 Type 1, and hopefully will have my alignment done soon.
Caster has little effect on the car when the car is going straight as in cruising down the highway.

I went in to my guy ahead of time and had the service writer check for the tools. ( I had the factory memo with photo's with me) They had the brackets but not the gauge. It took them a week to get it sent in.
