iPod question
90% of the time when I plug my iPod into the USB port it is not found. Although the screen says "iPod", no music is found. The 10% of the time it does work when I plug it in, the screen will have "Gary's iPod" and all my music is available. Any ideas?

I have an IPOD ( NANO) and I use the earphone jack to the round jack which will accept other devises as well !!! Wayne

my ipod classic/120 takes about 30 seconds or so to be recognized at all.
With just under 8k tracks on it, I see the spinning arrows for extended periods (several minutes) if I try to browse by artist or album name. to the extent that sometimes I exit out because it takes so long.
