Can the navigation system be worked from the passenger side with good visibility; my wife is the navigator so she would need to be able to work it while I drive. Otherwise we will just get a good Garmin,
My order goes in tomorrow so I have 24 hours to make final touches.
I also wonder if resale is that much of a difference with build in navigation?
My wife plugs stuff into the navigation while we drive, not a problem.
The big advantage of the GM Nav is it appears in your heads up display, that is very nice, Garmin can't do that. It isn't cheap in the 2015 though, mine is a '14. Then again it looks like the PDR might be fun to have, pricey toy but heh it's just money. The PDR and NAV would no doubt help resale value but how much , who knows. The forward facing camera does have a cool factor, they sure have sold a ton of GoPro's so there is demand for that stuff.

The display is more than adequate for both to access information. I like my navigation system and leave the navigation screen in view. You have to read the manual and experiment to get the most from the system. Information is readily available when you know where to look. Teamed with the HUD, assume presentation.

Thanks for the reply. Just wasn't sure if the passenger had good visibility to the system. She uses her phone now and I hate the voice that comes out of it and prefer visual to sound for directions so the HUD would cover that. She just does all the set up.
The screen on which the many functions including the navigation displays is directed towards the drive, but not entirely unusable by someone seating in the passenger seat. And, there's also the passenger grab bar blocking direct vision to the screen.
I'd say a passenger would have to lean over considerably to make use of it. A Garmin mounted in the forward most cup holder might be a better alternative. My 2011 Callaway GS didn't have factory nav. and when I wanted to travel to unknown parts, I would just put a Garmin in the cub holder.
Both my C7 & SS have the navigation feature, so I probably should sell the Garmin & and the cup holder mount. I updated it last year with the latest software and that can be done periodically. Make me a fair offer and it's yours.
You can use kbb.com to get an idea of how much the NAV will get you when it's time to sell. I priced my 2014 on kbb.com with and without NAV and there was about a $600 difference. Of course, the amount diminishes (with the rest of the car) over time.
