Visible carbon fiber roof is NOT transparent. It blocks sunlight 100% just like any opaque object.
There are 3 roofs, 2 of them are carbon fiber - the standard painted roof and the exposed carbon fiber roof. The third roof is the transparent roof panel. It is not carbon fiber. I believe it is Lexan or some other polycarbonate.
