Gents, My friends C7 was optioned with the transparent top, but the window sticker indicates that the carbon fiber body colored top came as standard equipment...no surprises there. My question is, shouldn't BOTH tops have came with the car? Myself, and everyone I know who has bought a Corvette in the past and optioned for the transparent roof have had the cars delivered with the transparent roof in the rear compartment. I brought this to my friends attention and when they questioned the dealer about it, was told that they would have had to pay an ADDITIONAL $1k (approx) in order to have the body colored top as well as the transparent roof. I don't understand this. If the body colored top is standard and you pay additional for a glass roof, shouldn't you get both??? What about you guys who have optioned for this on your C7? Thanks in advance!
CFA - Standard roof is painted carbon fiber
C2Z - Visible carbon fiber top - extra $$, replaces CFA
CC3 - Transparent top - extra $, replaces CFA
C2M - Dual top - C2Z and CC3 - extra $$$
C2Q - Dual top - CFA and CC3 - extra $$
Thanks for the info and option codes. Looking at the window sticker here, and it doesn't show any option codes so I guess my friend got the CC3 option. Thanks again!

List of RPO codes is under the carpet in the back near the battery. Exercise extreme care in pulling back the carpet! Make sure you have it out from under the side panels, avoid bending/creasing. It can be torn.
It seemed weird to me that the painted roof was less expensive than just the visible one so I opted to go for the body color one.
2 reasons. First, for the visible CF top, the weave and layout of the fibers has to be visually perfect, so only a few qualify, while a painted top can have visual defects because they are painted over.
Second, even the paint for the extra cost colors is relatively cheap. NightRace Blue, for instance is about $45 per quart. On the other hand, the clearcoat that goes over the visible CF has lots of UV protectant, as well as drying harder than the clearcoat that goes over painted surfaces. The cost is supposedly well over $1000 per quart.
