Shipping Hold Update
Anyone have any further information about what is going on? There's has just been no further information from anyone.
Did anyone that has a car that was on that list of 1300 get the car delivered? I know mine hasn't.

You haven't heard anything because everyone is getting their cars!
I saw one sheet of the Stop-Sale list and there were two VINs on that list they were in the 16xx - 17xx IIRC.

Just saw driver delivering 2 corvettes to my local dealer. Stopped and talked with him. One of the cars is s/n 26XX that is on the list. My friends new car with s/n 23XX has still not shipped. Driver says the lot at plant is "full" of corvettes from fence to fence. He said that the air bag manufacturer forgot the ground wire during assembly. Anyway, some cars are coming out of BG from the list.

Dealers were notified to inspect every A8 in their inventory and to replace the transmission if found with a cracked internal case. That would mean that there is a possibly that some cars with A8's that were not shipped, that GM will want to be inspected, and repaired, before they are shipped to the dealers.

Expires October 31, 2015
MODELS: 2015 Chevrolet Corvette
Equipped with 8 Speed Automatic Transmission (M5U)
This service update involves vehicles in dealer inventory only and will expire October 31, 2015.
This bulletin provides a service procedure to perform a drive audit on all 2015 model year Corvette vehicles in inventory that are equipped with an 8 speed automatic transmission (M5U). A small number of transmissions may develop a crack in the triple clutch housing internal to the transmission, leading to noise, loss of reverse gear, and limiting the driver to 3rd and 4th forward gears. The drive audit must be completed before vehicle delivery (and in addition to normal pre-delivery inspection activities) to identify vehicles with the condition. If the condition is found, dealers are to replace the transmission under the existing exchange program, see PIP5200A for details.
