About 10 years ago I bought my first serious sports car and when thru a phase of going nuts on wax. Clay bar, menzerna polish, then hand wax with SwissVax. It looked great after a couple coats. But now the care instructions I see for clear bra (now have Suntek) recommend synthetic waxes only. So I am also using Mequiar's Ultimate and I have to admit it looks great!

I go along with Glen E.It's all in the prep. You do it right the cheap wax will make it pop.Or don't do the prep and supposedly the best wax out there will only make the car so so.

Yes. A lot of good synthetics out there. I think it just comes down to preference now. I have a 3M clearbra and use the 3M synthetic.
