Default Delivery time

I just ordered a C7 from Penske in Indianapolis. The Chevrolet website says that I am "queued for production". How long does it take from this point until delivery?

Can't wait

Ask your dealer to tell you what your TPW (Target production Week) is. That will give you a much better idea of when to expect it.

I feel your pain! My order just went from Order Entered to Queued for Production. I expect an email from my dealer in a week or so with the TPW. SBWKXQ in RI waiting for the next status change!

Mine was queued 9/24/2014 (code 3000). My dealer said it would be built either the second or third week of October.

I should see a code change by 10/6/2014.

If I remember correctly, the code change happens either Saturday night or Tuesday night. I may not remember correctly though.

Other than the Chevrolet website, where do you see "codes"?

No place that we can see the codes. However, Chevy Customer Service has a sticky thread and they can lookup your code and provide the TPW when it is assigned. However, the best place to get this information is from your dealer. They are going to make plenty from you, make them earn it. They can and should provide you with updates.

It really depends. I'm told mine will arrive this week. It was completed on August 24

Go to http://www.chevrolet.com/order-tracking.html.
In the lower right corner of that page is a yellow 'Chat Now' tab.
Use that to input your order number and the agent will transfer you to another agent who can access your order status code.

The 'chat now' feature seems to be offline (broken) 50% of the time I try it but usually works later on the same day.

Update: To get directly to Customer Service Chat (and skip the agent transfer mentioned above), go to: https://my.chevrolet.com/web/portal/managemybrand?g=1
Chat tab is in the middle of the right edge.

Thanks, the system was broken as predicted but I ultimately got through and given the newness of my order they do not have any more info at this time. I will check back, thanks for the tip on that resource.

Default Canadian Rage

First let me apologize for the intemperate title. I am Canadian.
It is very frustrating that we can't track our orders in Canada. I know my order is accepted with delivery.......well November or maybe December.

Can't your dealer provide you with updates? Make them earn the money they will make off of you.

Apparently we Canucks can harass online customer service but I like the idea of checking at 1am Pacific Time to see if anything has changed.
