9 Weeks
Placed the order for my 2015 z51 on 7/28 and picked up at a dealer in Bowling Green on Monday. Exactly 9 weeks from order date. Nice easy drive back to St Louis, no issues and no rock chips. The Eight Speed trans and the overall car is awesome.

The A8 exceeded my expectations. I am still in break in mode, but when you are accelerating you cannot feel it shift. In sport mode it shifts rapidly and when you are decelerating it downshifts so you are always in the right gear. You will not be sorry ordering it.

Its still learning so I'll wait to really pass judgement. It does seem to shift a little more than I'd like at slow speeds but the shifts are pretty quick and normally smooth. Of course, I've only done 60 miles so far, I haven't come close to really doing anything with it.
