Default Help needed w/dash display

Over 7 mos. of ownership and still struggling w/ the electronics...

Several weeks ago I somehow was able to achieve a dash display that showed the actual coolant/oil temps instead of the normal idiot lights. This display shows an image of the car and is not shown or discussed anywhere in the owner's manual that I can find. This image disappeared all by itself and reverted to the standard display...can anyone walk me thru the step process of pulling up this display??

With the dash display on tour mode, press the left arrow on the steering wheel. Use the up or down arrow to get to "Perf". Then press select.

Should get you to that screen. If it does not, then press the up or down arrow until the proper screen is up.

But the main thing to make sure of, is that the screen style is "Tour" and you are in the "Perf" menu.

Not the tour mode. You need to get to the tour display mode...2 different things.

On the steering wheel, on the right, hit the left arrow and scroll down to Touring. Select Touring and then scroll through those views. You'll see it.

Appreciate all the suggestions but no cigar...off to dealer next week. I cannot pull up this screen in any mode regardless of which buttons I push or sequence...

You want the IP gauges in Touring mode. See the first thread below, but select "TOUR" instead of "Link to Drive Mode."

Then, go back to the left menu, scroll to PERF and hit select.

Then, scroll up / down until you get the digital gauges.

Also see flowchart for IP choices below.

Have fun!

Ron

Thanx, it worked! Don't understand the methodology for these steps but guess I don't have to now. Strange that this instrument display (or how to pull it up) is not mentioned in the owner's manual....

Beepster,

All I can suggest is sit in your car, hold the start button for 5+ seconds without your foot on the brake or clutch to get the car systems on.

Then play with the arrow buttons on the steering wheel.

Basically there are 3 "themes" or general layouts: Tour, Sport, and Track. These are linked to the driving mode (or set to one of the modes) by selecting SETTINGS in the left arrow (left side) OPTION menu, moving to the right, scrolling to what you want, and pressing the OK to select .

Then each mode has various detailed choices such as Info, Perf, Audio, Nav, Phone that can be selected with the left arrow, scroll down the list, press OK.

Then in the center display, scroll up / down to the sub display that you want.

Print the flow chart from the second thread in my original post.

You'll find all kinds of neat stuff!

Have fun!

Ron
