C7 Corvette Stingray quality is not dependent on whether or not you have had issues, in my opinion. I, for one, have had more issues than most, but even with the issues I've had, my C7 is by far the highest quality Corvette I have ever owned. It surpasses them all even with the issues I have experienced.
The way I look at the term "Quality" is that there are a number of factors that influence overall Quality, or lack there of. One factor being how many issues the car has had.
Even though I'm having an issue with my one-month-old 2015 (audio system won't recognize USB or SD media), I'm very impressed with the car and its quality. Mine is a 2LT and while the interior isn't quite as luxurious as a 3LT, it's still of very high quality and I'm proud to show it to others. As far as I'm concerned, the entire car just reeks of quality in both materials and assembly. Kudos to GM.
So far it's been phenomenal, no problems (knock on carbon fiber). 3500 miles. 5 months old. I am pissed off at myself for giving it its first paint nick Sunday. Taking the roof off, I dinged the door jam with the metal corner of the top. It's the size of a pencil point. Most people would never see it but I know it's there!
This thread has been a breath of fresh air. Honest. It has taken the C7 to get me back into a GM showroom after a 35+ year absence.
Ive had every vette starting with the C2. Loved all of them and they keep getting better each edition. Just got my first oil change at 6,000
and everything is perfecto. Also, the rockstar status and attention is still out there. The only complaint I have on the C7 is the seat seems to be built for a smallish butt.
now i got the car 6 months and have done 10'500 Kilometres
Had only one problem, the front right catalic converter was gone
But i can say Perfect Car, with no Problems
Nearing the 6 month point and nearly 3,000 trouble-free miles. Very impressed with the quality of the C7.
...and no issues with any of the features associated with 2LT.
Who else is impressed?
One year and except for GM requested rear fluid check (it was fine) and dash light software update it has been perfect. Two workarounds with seat memory and closing rear hatch but they are simple. Wish all my MS and other software workarounds were as easy!
