So I want to hear from people what you bought and what you'd do different if you were to do it over, although I want a z06 I'm finding it hard to get, I bought a black z51 with automatic 2lt. And I'm not really happy with the automatic and I like the black but itsva burden to maintain, so I'm going to trade up to a 2015 m7 manual. Tell me what you have and what you would do differrent.what color what option.
I have a 2014 convertible, 7M, 2LT w Nav, NRB, black top, black interior. I would purchase a black 3LT interior in the future. Having trouble with seat leather material, warranty is (re) covering it. Otherwise, perfectly happy!
2015 3LT Z51 Coupe with M7 & MSRC
AW outside / AR inside / Carbon flash emblems, mirrors & spoiler.
Black rims / red calipers.
Body color roof (carbon flash wrapped for $300).
I was really on the fence to wait for the Z06, but I know myself. That much car & I'd put it into a bridge abutment at a buck fifty.
The only thing I'd change is to convince my wife that it's *much* too powerful & she should stick to her SUV.
I had factory ordered a 2014 Non-Z51 2lt coupe in silver with the red interior from a dealer who swore he had allocations...He lied. After three months of waiting in vain, I cancelled and that same day found a Non-Z51 AW 2LT convertible with auto trans, NPP, NAV, and sueded seats for 59K. I bought the car sight unseen and immediately had it shipped to me. I did not originally want the vert because I thought the coupe was a better looking car, but now that I have had the vert for 6 months, I am THRILLED. My last 'vette was a C6 coupe with the removable top and frankly I virtually never took the top off the car (to much trouble). Now, all I do is push a button and a few seconds later, I am driving a genuine roadster. As far as looks are concerned, I still believe the coupe is a better looking car against a vert with the top up. However, once that top is dropped, all bets are off! The vert is just STUNNING and as evidence I offer the fact that I spend a whole lot of time wiping other people's drool off the paint...
Bottom line? Now that I own that beautiful machine sitting out in the garage, there is NOTHING I would change. If I wrecked her tomorrow (heaven forbid), I would order the identical car...

Partner...now that's a steal!!! Good job and beautiful ride!
I ordered a torch red, 2LT, non-Z51 coupe with Z51 spoiler and red calipers... The other $20,000 worth of stuff did not mean anything to me anymore... I sold an 04 Z06 to order it, but the Stingray has more horsepower and handles good enough.
I had a
2014 Z51 7 Speed - 2LT - Cyber Gray with Black
FE4 - Mag Ride
NPP - Exhaust
FAY - CF Dash
Navigation
I just picked up a
2015 Z51 7 Speed - 2LT - Torch Red with Black
Competition Seats
Suede Inserts
Suede Steering Wheel & Shifter
Visible Carbon Fiber Roof
Red Calipers
FE4
Nav w/ PDR
Black Spoiler & Mirrors
I didn't do FAY because I could get it for $500 and install it myself instead of paying GM $995.
Seriously considered 3LT, yes even with black but I figured my money was better spent on the Competition Seats as they look
I can't remember the price, which was probably a consideration when I ordered my C7, but I would likely go with the wing spoiler over the standard Z51 if I were to do it over again. Under certain conditions, the standard spoiler reflects light, which is distracting. I also think the wing looks better.

I have to say I agree. If the wing spoiler was the one that came with the P.E. Verts, I would have liked that much more. That is one good-looking spoiler.
I bought a non Z car thinking about never wanting to track it (going for the more comfortable ride) and now I would like to add a Supercharger and I think it would be better to do that in a Z car with bigger brakes and the non slip differential and bigger tires and wheels.
Ordered Torch Red/Kalahari, Z51 Spoiler, Non Z51, 2LT, NPP, Red Calipers. Would not change any of that.
Considered Wing Spoiler, but like the look of the Z51 Spoiler much more. Considered Yellow Calipers, but would be too flashy with Torch Red. NPP was an absolute must.
Would have ordered Carbon Fiber Dash (FAY) if not for fear of constraints.
I thought about my choice of rear spoiler long and hard. Having bought a non-Z51, I had my choice of spoilers and thought for a long time it would absolutely be a body colored wing spoiler for my AW vert. However, in the end, I went for a Carbon Flash Z51 spoiler. It just "felt right". The spoiler has arrived and is waiting for dealer installation which should occur by the end of the week. I'll post pics as soon as the install is complete....
I know it's stupid, but I really wanted yellow calipers. I just couldn't bring myself to pay $600 for caliper paint, and said I'd just paint them myself after delivery. Now I don't want to do it because I'm afraid it will look like a crappy home job. Now I'm wishing I just paid the $600 for peace of mind that it would look stock.
2015 non-z51, 2lt, Laguna blue, black interior, black wheels, transparent roof, NPP.
