Default Spring Mountain Corvette Driving School

Just got home from two days at the Ron Fellows high performance driving school. Got training in the car's capabilities and trained on braking, cornering, weight & balance and a variety of other subjects. Drove 2014 Z51s for about 10 hours, practicing the skills we were taught - at speeds of up to 115 mph. Not only was it great training, but it was LESS THAN HALF PRICE for owners of new Corvettes: only $1,000. I couldn't recommend it more.

I agree, I did it in august, thinking I may buy the 2015 so I can get to do it again for $1000, I am speaking with my financial adviser now for advice

Great training. Went there in Oct. of 2012 with a friend who took the 3-day course. I went along as his photo guy and sat in on all the classes and did a lot of the ride-a-longs. Highly recommended for drivers and passengers.

Just finished the three day. The third day is awesome as you get three track time and the ability to pass. You learn great skill and technique that will just make you that much of a better driver not to mention how capable the C7 is. WOW!!! What a fantastic car. The cars are stock and perform so well on the track. It is so much FUN the third day as you really put it all together and just drive as fast as you skill level. I had a smile on my face the whole time tracking... It is that much fun!!!

I'll add a little more. We had 8 forum members that attended that class. Rich427 was kind enough to rally us as a group who exchanged emails and information weeks before the class. We also met the night before at Spring mountain for a get to know ya meal. It made for a cohesive group that with a number of other great guys had the time of their lives. Four wives also attended who sat in on classes, watched us on the track, and a couple even went for a ride with the instructors. Spring Mountain is a very relaxed environment, with first rate instructors, I would suggest for everyone who goes to do the three day session. You won't regret it.

Default My other car is a 38 ft RV

I know they have rooms available, but I'll be traveling out there in my RV. Does anyone know if there is parking space and power available for RVs?

I went back in May for the three day class. It was awesome. I don't have a C7 yet, but if I get one I'd definitely want to go back for more, especially if the discount is being offerred. I strongly recommend taking the class if you are able (and staying for the third day, which is when you to really start doing some hot laps).

I don't remember if there were RV hookups, but there seemed to be plenty of parking. Given that the location is a bit of a high-end type of country club for car guys, I wouldn't bet on RV hookups, but I'm sure a phone call would find out for sure. It is definitely possible.

Yes they have full RV hook ups there, 4 or 5 spots with 50 AMP power.
We were there Sept 22-24th
Absolutely first Class Operation, cannot wait to go back for Level 2
We stayed in our RV and it worked out great!
