Default Automatically start PDR?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to set the car so that PDR will automatically started when you turn on the engine (not in the valet mode please)?

It's not about being lazy of pressing two or three buttons to start it with but I'm getting old and many times I forget about it :-)

Thank you.

Do you really want it on all the time? The device records your driving and is a record that could be used against you.

There's no way to get it to record automatically.

I just threw my BlackVue on the windshield and let it record for me. PDR is kind of useless to me now.

As far as the comment about recording all the time and it can be used against you. If you don't drive like a d1ck then you have nothing to worry about it. It will be there to protect you.

I won't use the PDR for any track situations, and would love for it to start recording automatically. I could get some use of this $1000 add-on to the nav system... if I could get to function like a GoPro.

If I'm at fault, then I man up to it. If a cop pulls me over for 80 in a 55... and I was doing 80 (or more)... my response to the officer isn't... " prove it"

They don't? What I'm getting at is; could help in a particular accident, however viewing previous recorded driving habits could nullify any benefit. Speeding, improper passing etc, it is all there and can't be deleted or recorded over. I would be very careful what I recorded and would change cards frequently and dispose of any questionable performances immediately.

Isn't PDR the acronym for:

POLICE DETECTIVE REPORTING (PDR)?

We’ll, that would be a surprise to me since I have it set up to record everytime I start the engine. Been doing it since I got the car a month ago
