Traction Control Button Trick
There are occasions that one might want to quickly turn off the traction control. I have learned a trick to do so, without looking down and searching for traction control button:
- Quickly pistol grip the shifter and lean your forearm on top of the Driver Mode Select switch.
- One very gentle arm push down will turn off the traction control. One more push will turn it back on.
Applicable to both manual and automatic, pistol gripping the shift **** will cause the Ulna bone of forearm to sit directly on top of traction control button. Traction control button is designed a bit concaved up, and it helps a lot. Was it by design? Who knows. Try it.
