Default Thanks

I want to thank those who have posted in the past about proper adjustment of rear view mirrors. I regret that I had never used these mirrors properly in the past and poor vision to the sides was the biggest concern I had about purchasing the C7.

Properly adjusted, I can change lanes with confidence in the C7, makes driving with the roadway nuts much more relaxed! Don

Should be among the first things taught in driver education IMO.

You’re absolutely right about that. The US should act more like Germany which has rigorous testing standards for getting a license.

Here, it’s a joke. A few years ago, my Dad was failing rapidly, his doctor said he was no longer able to live by himself and needed to go into an assisted living facility. At 92, the Florida DMV resisted me when I refused to allow them to renew his driving license for another 5 yrs. They didn’t even want to see or talk to him before renewing it.

They caved as they had no right to challenge me as the executor and guardian and with written recommendations from his doctor. Don

I learned this in a Defensive Driving College Class (easy A class). It's great and surprisingly very few people I talk to have ever heard of it.
