I recently took my C7 into the dealership to have the drivers side back quarter panel worked on and now my driver's side rear tail light and brake lights are not working at all.
I suspect they forgot to plug the tail light harness back in when they removed the body panels. Can any body provide a link or video on how to remove/install rear tail light?
Why not just take it back to the dealer and have them fix what thet broke?
I was planning on driving the car this weekend, and I can't get to the dealership until next week. I was hoping it was a quick fix I could do myself, but the more I look at it, the more I am see it doesn't appear to be all that easy.
After looking at it, I don't believe removing any part of the rear panel/bumper is the answer. I could be wrong, but it almost appears the spoiler will need to be removed to get to be bolts from the top.
The owner's manual sucks, and pretty much says see dealer for rear bulb/tail light replacement. I imagine that is what I will end up having to do. I don't live close to a dealer, so it is alot of trouble to get it into the nearest dealership.
