Just picked up 2015 Stingray, great car so far, but worried I have a problem. I change my mode from Sport to Touring, and Eco not a problem. However, when I switch from any of those to Track, then want to go back to any of the other modes, the selector bypasses all and goes to Wet. When I put it back to another mode, it will skip all and go to Track, There does not seem to be a reason, what am I missing or doing wrong, or is this a problem? Help please!
It is a computer, move **** in desired direction, immediately release, wait for mode to switch (a second or two) move **** in desired direction for next mode, release/wait replete until your in the desired mode. Don't hold ****, it will go where ever? My car works perfectly.
On mine, from Track, twist to right goes to Weather Mode, twist to left goes to Sport Mode. But, twist/release/wait is the proper method. There is a big delay between Modes. Give the car a chance to convert everything (Engine Throttle Response, Cam Timing, Trans Shift Points, Differential, Steering Feedback and Response, Suspension Ride, Exhaust, Main Gauges) between each twist.
There's been a few threads now on this subject.
Thought C7 switch was like the Mag ride switch on the C6's and just rotate and click right to the mode you want.
My questions is on the C7, if you're in Track for example, and want to go directly to Eco, can you repeatedly twist and release rapidly to get it to Eco.
Or do you have to wait each time you rotate and release for it to go into each mode in between before it would be in Eco
