Just had my 2014 yellow corvette done with ghost shield in Newbury Park, Ca. Standard package, complete front, front grill, headlights, mirrors, hood louvers, and front fenders. Covers from aft end of louvers on hood all the way down the front. About 3 to 3.5 hours install time. They did an outstanding job. Highly recommend these guys. Just Google Ghost shield.
Initial fitting. Hood partially complete.
Very hard to even see the seam in the sunlight.

They had the pattern loaded in their computer. Fed it to their cutting machine and poof, it was all cut out. Cut it while I was there. About 30 or so different pieces. Mirrors, hood, each fender, each light, each hood vent louver was a single piece, front, grill was a bunch of small ones, plus the lower section.
I said what I said on purpose to make a point. But, whatever. If no one finds it
unprofessional to work on ones paint while wearing jewelry, then so be it.
Maybe you'll change your tune the next time the service guy tries hopping into your Vette wearing a tool belt.

I agree with your post 100%, should be part of film install 101.

Holy crap that guy wasn't wearing a hairnet when installing the Ghost Shield. What happens when he gets hair stuck in between the car and the shield? Nice watch, btw.
a Porsche dealer in my area offers expel film and claims to have a climate and dust controlled room to do the install. I would prefer to have someone who cares work on my car. No big deal as the op seams happy and that is all that matters.
