The C2 stood the test of time well. Compairing; notice the blunt front of,the C2 (compared to the C7) and how it favors an airfoil. Read where the C2's front gets light at speeds around 100 mph. Moving aft, the windshield rake, the side window line and the roof height suggest another era. The rear end tapers down, design elements from the past. Not faulting the C2 generation, just pointing out how design and areodynamics have changed with a side by side comparision.

Amazing how far the Corvette has come over the years. Still love the looks of the C2 generation, but I have a feeling the C5-C7 generations will retain their popularity for a long time too.

I find it amazing how much improvement has gone into these cars in 50 years.
